Cloe Raggel, Amy Colour, Coral Eagle & Robin Fox were secret agents. They went on missions at least once a month. They were the best from all the agents in the SAA (Secret Agents Agency). The head of the SAA was Cloe´s father. When Cloe´s mother died, the SAA needed someone who would look very similar so the “baddies“ wouldn’t know. If they knew… Cloe didn’t want to think of that. So she got her mothers´ missions.
Cloe´s mother had had straight very dark brown hair to her arm pits. She had big brown eyes. Her nose wasn’t pointed. It was quite small and very pretty. Her lips were dark red - a contrast to her pale face - and quite small.
Cloe looked exactly the same except that she was much prettier, she had freckles and her hair wasn’t straight but scruffy.
Cloe´s father was thin and highly intelligent. He also had very dark brown hair that was just a bit less scruffy than Cloes´. One day he called Cloe in. “Good morning, Cloe,” he said as he gestured to the luxurious sofa she should sit on. Cloe didn’t see her father very much. He went to work very early and came home very late. Mrs. Margin and the other servants cooked her breakfast and supper (she had lunch in the SAA). “Hello!” she said. “You called.”
“Yes, I did. You’re going on a mission.”
“Yay!!! When? What weapons will we get? Who’s coming with me? Are we going to the baddies´ head quarters?” Cloe burst out before her father could finish.
“Well, for a start you are not going to the baddies´ headquarters, you are not even going to be on earth this time.” Cloe´s face brightened up. “You are going to go and claim a planet I just found yesterday. You are going to go now because I think the news will spread quickly although I blocked the website. The baddies will get there soon enough. Amy, Coral & Robin are waiting for you by the spaceship. They’ve got your weapons.”
“OK, bye!” Cloe said and ran into the hall way. She still heard her father shouting to her: “It will take two hours going by the speed of light!”
Cloe ran to the lift and went to the -2 floor. The lift door opened and there she saw her three best friends. Amy had her straight blonde hair tied into two pony tails like always. Her cousin Coral was talking to Robin.“Hi there!!!” Cloe said. “Hello!” they replied. They all jumped into the space ship.
In half an hour they were all dresses in their Agent Clothes – Black skinny overalls with light green shoes and gloves. They were playing Scrable and laughing.
In about two hours they were there.
The planet was sandy and rocky but had oxygen so they could breath. It was funny because everything they saw was a few saguaros (big cactuses) and a few tufts of grass.
They walked on. There was nothing. “Do you have the clamuriser?” Amy asked Coral. He stopped short. “Oh! I knew I forgot something!” he said “I go back and get it. Wait for me here.”
“OK,” we replied together. Robin and I laughed. Amy didn’t. She was angry at Coral. She said he did it so many times that she couldn’t stand it any more.
They sat down and started talking. In about 15 minutes Cloe heard scratching. “What’s that?”
“What?” Robin asked.
“That scratching sound.”
“I didn’t hear anything.” Amy said.
“I didn’t either.” Robin said.
Then something stung Cloe into the shoulder.
“Auch!!!” she cried. Then she fell onto the ground.
Cloe woke up because she was cold. She sat up and looked around. Where was she? She was in a small concrete room. One wall was half barred and half concrete. She looked behind the bars. There was a corridor. Across the corridor was another room exactly like theirs. They were in a prison.
Cloe shook Robin and then Amy. “Wake up” she whispered, “wake up!”
Slowly - ever so slowly - they woke up. First Robin then Amy. “Where are we?” Amy asked. Robin already figured it out. “Oh,” she said after a few seconds.
“What happened,” Cloe asked.
“Well, you got a poisonous arrow into your shoulder and you Robin,” Amy turned to Robin, “you got it into the back of your neck.”
“And then we fell asleep,” Robin finished.
“Where did they shoot you, Amy?” Cloe asked.
“I stood up and started to run but they shot me into my thigh.” she said.
“Quiet!” a voice whispered.
Robin, Amy & Cloe turned.
There, in the middle of the corridor stood Coral.
“I followed you in.” he said and got out his laser gun. “Stand back!” he pointed the gun at the bars.
In a few minutes they were standing outside in the corridor.
“Follow me!” Coral directed. So they did. It was quiet easy to escape. The guard was sleeping and the others there too busy working or looking at some papers. The natives here weren’t humans. They were yellow and beige with two arms but instead of legs they had eight enormous black claws.
When they got out Coral lead them to another building. “What are you doing?” Amy hissed.
“They took our spaceship here.” Coral answered in a peaceful tone.
And really. When they got into the building the space ship was there. There were three guards but they were busy talking so the four agents got past them quickly.
When they got to the spaceship they jumped in and started the motors. The last they saw were the astonished faces of the three guards. Then they broke the roof and set off home.
“We´ll have to explain to Mr.Raggel that he should bring an army next time not just four children!” Amy said. Everyone started laughing.
